Job Description

LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking a Custodial Supervisor at our contract to provide consolidated facilities management services for the National Archives Building in downtown Washington, DC. Primary functions of the supervisor on the 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday is to ensure work specifications are followed and performed to the satisfaction of management while providing the highest level of service possible to the client.

Primary functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Minimum of 3 years custodial supervisory experience
  • Supervise 10 15 employees including schedule preparation.
  • Perform daily inspections as required.
  • Perform administrative duties in completing all necessary forms and submittals.
  • Manage and monitor custodial supplies during shift.
  • Conduct weekly safety meetings and on-the-job training for subordinates.
  • Ensure work specifications are followed and performed to the satisfaction of management while providing the highest level of custodial service to the client.

The position also requires experience in marble polishing and maintenance, carpet maintenance and snow removal.  Candidates must have knowledge of recycling, HAZCOM waste handling and waste removal. In addition Candidates must have knowledge of floor maintenance including buffing, stripping, waxing and familiarity with usage of automatic and manual floor machines

Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
