Job Description

LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee facilities in the DC Metro area.  Position is contingent upon contract award.

The Facilities Maintenance Manager shall have overall responsibility for managing the work performed and at a minimum fulfill the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Furnish knowledgeable staff and technical expertise required to meet and perform the requirements of this TO.
  • Schedule replacement personnel, fully trained to adhere to the requirements stated within this TO, in the event of Contractor personnel absence. Replacement personnel shall be scheduled to report on site within one hour of notification.
  • Ensure that the performance standards are adhered to.
  • Ensure that the deliverables required under the TO are met.
  • Coordinate all of the work performed under this TO to ensure that the level of service rendered by the Contractor is indistinguishable from any Subcontractors relied upon.
  • Ensure that all personnel are qualified to perform the assigned work and have the prerequisite licenses, certificates and training when required by law or industry practice.
  • Promptly investigate all accidents/incidents involving Contractor and Subcontractor personnel that involve damage to property, injury/illness resulting in hospitalization, lost work time, first aid cases and near misses.
  • Meet routinely with the COR.

The Facilities Maintenance Manager shall have the following work experience and qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of direct supervisory experience in a facility requiring similar services in both magnitude and complexity to that of the OCC's facility.
  • Possess a Real Property Administrator certification. 
  • Possess a BOMI FMA certification.
