Job Description

LB&B Associates Inc. is currently seeking a Security Manager in the Sandy Springs, GA area.  Position is contingent upon contract award.

Summary: Responsibilities include programming, troubleshooting, schedule and oversee maintenance of all security and video management systems for the City facilities; must remain current with latest security technology trends. Schedule elevators and set-up lobby ropes for Conference Level events. Set-up Magnetometer for Council/Public Meetings. Monitor Video Management System and Access control for any intrusion violations. Supervise loading dock operations, lobby receptionist and lobby operations. Supervises traffic control on roadways for large tractor-trailers exiting and entering the loading dock area. Supervises contracted security staff. Maintain database of approved background checks, issue access control cards to approved employees and deactivate immediately upon termination of employment. Manage access of all vendors and contractors conducting business in the building. Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events (schedule doors, elevators and camera surveillance to meet special event needs and building opening and closings). Perform field CEPTED surveys and enforce security policies, protocols and procedures. Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs. Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms. Review reports on incidents and breaches. Investigate and resolve security and safety issues. Create reports for management on security status. Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technologies). Ensure compliance with applicable codes, requisitions, government agency, and company directives as relates to building operations. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Qualifications:

Requires a high school diploma with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard office application.
